Best of Weekend Brunch

“Recently voted by UrbanSpoon as one of the top 10 restaurants in Seattle, and ranked by a CNBC survey as one of the top 10 happy hours nationwide, the breakfasts at Toulouse Petit are nothing to sneeze at either. With a nod to the French Quarter in New Orleans, the Toulouse Petit has large windows, rod iron appointments and French style tables and chairs. Two of the wooden tables in the restaurant are carved with the Tree of Life, and a Hamsa Hand can be found on the wall, bringing good energy to this funky little Queen Anne destination. Order up a big basket of hot beignets to get your motor running. Then try the Dungeness Crab and Asparagus Scramble, with Toulouse potatoes. Or for an indulgence (it is the weekend, after all) order the Créme Caramel French Toast with brulet pears and fresh strawberries. In true Big Easy fashion, you can get the Creole Breakfast, with classic biscuits and gravy or Crawfish Etouffée over creamy Corn Grits. There’s no end to specialty drinks, including the pomegranate mojito, Toulouse hurricane, and Creole bloody mary, to name a few.” – CBS Seattle
